Firing A Firework Display
|
All of our firework displays are fired using Electronic Ignition. We will not compromise on the safety of our crew and clients and feel that this is now the safest way to fire a display. We use a Pyromate firing systems for most of our firework displays.
Each site (or frontage as we say in the business), will have a dedicated receiver box, to which we attach all the electric igniters. The numerous receiver boxes are then all linked together in a chain so they can all communicate with one another. We then test our boxes and cues before retreating to a safe place to begin the firework display.
The firework display starts when the first switch is actuated! Each subsequent firing is actuated according to our predefined schedule and timings until the firework display has reached its finale. Computer firing systems for firework displaysFor more complicated firework displays we use a computerised firing system. Occasionally we use a wireless sequencer that allows us to fire with no wires at all. These are especially useful when firing across lakes and on barges.
We are always looking for new enthusiastic people to come set up, fire and de-rig shows with us, so if your interested in the dirtier, heavy, sometimes wet side of Fireworks...... why not contact us and become a crew member on one of our next shows? |
